Data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ 2023 Consumer Expenditure Survey was then sourced to find monthly costs for groceries, healthcare and utilities for people aged 65 and older. The monthly housing, grocery, healthcare and utilities were added up to find which Nevada cities a person aged 65 and older could survive on $3,000 or less.
